Fitted up my Cobra MC600 chart plotter today, but it won't connect to the GPS. I first tried it last week, with the same result, and have since re-read the manual, but nothing will get it to connect. Cable and connections seem ok, and everything was fine when I last used it in the Autumn. I've even unscrewed the antenna and looked at the innards, but it's a PCB with many gizmos, any of which might be faulty. Nothing seemed to be loose.

Anyone else had similar problems? It's a good plotter and I'd really like to get it up and running again.

Have you done a manual data reset from the menu? I had mine do something similar and recall there was a thread on here detailing the process to reset.

Hi,

Yes, done that a few times, but it still says no input from GPS, or similar message. I'll have to see if someone locally has the same plotter and I can connect to their antenna, but not enough time left now before I go off for a week.
