Follow wiggo\'s example ?

What you could do is make a whole series of posts, each happily involving everyone in the theoretical process of your new season.

If you're buying boat, make a load of posts agonizing over the choice of boat, whether to have a survey, wot sort of davits, how to replace the nasty pretend veneer dashboard, and so on.

In your case it could be a series of questions about how hard to pump up the tyres on the trailer, wot sort of hipressure hose for cleaning the trailer, if its a good idea to leave the garden path busted in case you win another umbrella from MBY, if there are any boaty hats which will stay on your head at high speed, a discussion about what sort of ringos or other towable gear, how much for an 20 foot high towable inflatable iceberg (8 grand i think), a few more arguments about trudgy slowcoach banger cars that take ages to get anywhere erm I mean SUV's and landrovers, and so on.... in this way we we can all contribute your thoughts (but, like you, not actually doing anything) and deliberate the high class problems of pissing up a whole pile of money er I mean boats and boating.

My boat is still in the water, But its winterized, and i don't know enough of the engine to re-commision it myself.

I did go and check on it on Monday there, Swmbo and i were very happy sitting on it for a few hour, me with a beer in hand. Swmbo turns and says to me, Oh, i can't wait till the season starts again..
That made me happy, and depressed./forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Re: oooh, I\'m hurt

and bored. Since when was two 'a whole series'? And from an engineering standpoint, chipboard is a very good material, in the right circumstances.

Join the bleeding club - I've got a boat all ready to go and can't use it.

Now there are those worse off that you - This is really "post piste" blues - isnt it ?? Go and buy a winter skiing brochure and book next years trip - that will cheer you up. (a bit)

Re: Follow wiggo\'s example ?

I could invent a planned party, where you All come up to Loch Lomond and join me for one Mega big party, and sample my vast selection of Malts.

I'm affraid i can't bore you stupid, with 'Buying a Boat', As i did that last year, and drove you all mad.

Trailers, Cleaning, Tyre Pressures, Bearing Buddies and such,,,,, Don't care as i don't own a trailer..

Now Busted Garden Paths, i can talk about. Yes it is probably better to leaving it busted, in case another plonker of a driver delivers any MB&Y freebie. But we had to fix it, at considerable cost to ourselves,(As i and MB&Y cannae find out who did). But we can relax as i put a huge plant pot at the end of the path so as drivers would keep away from it, the only problem now, is people need to go on the garden to get round it,/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif.
BTW I never did receive the correct brolly.

Now, Boating at speed with hats on, is one of my specialist subjects, After all i have lost many. The Answer is> Hold on to it...

Now what else??

Oh, Yes. The high Class problem of pissing up a whole pile of money to go boating..
Er, Well Maybe you can give me some tips on that one... Cheers./forums/images/icons/smile.gif

So how far do you think we can go, before we find the 'Sin Bin'???
How about an upto date Joke????

2 Sharks swimming around the north sea,
1 says to the other,"I've had enough of eating this Mackerel,
Lets go to Morcombe for a Chinese..."
