First the bad: my four year old Musto MPX salopettes failed badly. Very badly. Not what you would expect from an almost top of the range bit of kit.
Now the excellent: I contacted Mustos, their return email said the garment should go to Scottish Mountain Gear for testing and assessment. SMG is quite close by so I was able to drop the salopettes at their premises. SMG made the assessment and reported to Mustos. A new pair of MPX salopettes arrived today.
The whole process took thirteen days from my first email to the delivery of the replacement. Good service I would say.
