Musto SNug

C-Sail, I'd watch the Gill SWMBO kit- their material tends to delaminate after about a year of reasonable cruising and shore use- sometimes less; Alice had an Gill offshore oily jacket that went at the shoulders ands back- replacement from shop did the same within 6 months too.

Being a glutton for punishment(well look who she married!) she bought a Gill waterproof light jacket last autumn at SIBS cos it was on offer and xs and a girlie colour- guess what- it's delamming again at the cuffs.

Got her to ask for an navy blue HL offshore oily jkt n drop seat trizers after second one- two seasons, no probs.

If you are racing, may not matter, kit gets trashed much quicker than all year gentle cruising, but Gill do seem to have durability issues after 12months or so these days.
Got one of their 5 button polertec 200 shirts thats 13 years old at least, mind, bit thin, but still works.

Its the price of oilies that really frightnens me, esp Musto /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

think quality is all about pot luck theses days had a musto number one fleece that died after 3months but store gave me my money back, my gill atlantic jacket is 2 years old done 2000miles in deliveries, cruising and racing and is still going strong although not the best fitting in the world as gill along with all the other oilie manafactorers seam to think that girls dont do ocean sailing.
My girlie key west gill bib and brace only did two rorc races before one of the zips decided to die during a partically rough race in the middle of the channel hence half of oilie bottom hanging off with me on the rail of a pure racing yacht that was doing a very good impression of a sub.
