Unfortunately my trusty Musto Baseball Cap was put in the washing machine and the washing action has dissolved the glue which glues the peak to the cap material.
Can anyone suggest the glue I can use to glue the cap and peak back together ?

(its take years for this cap to reach the worn and faded state its in, anyone looking at this cap would assume that the wearer had followed Francis Chichester around the world or been to the Azores and back during the great storm which the weather forecaster Michael Fish sad was nothing to worry about, But in fact I have only used it on Coniston, but you do have to keep up with appearances.)

So any suggestions about gluing it back together appreciated.

Uhu, it's a good fabric glue.

My guess is that your Musto cap is now out of warranty period plus you have actually washed it so its completely 'out of warranty' {:-)#

Well my Gill baseball cap is definitely untrustworthy becoming unsightly after one season.IMG_20220217_103057077_HDR.jpg
But I suppose the writing was on the wall or rather on the care label, which of course you can't peruse if you mail order.
Despite the fact that they are still being sold by Gill with the phrase ' Shielding you from the sun and rain, this cap is suitable for any activity on or around the water. ' Yes but only if you are carrying an unbrella.
I my case what I assume to be the glue has leached out in nasty bands of discolouration after use in the rain - before any attempts to get it clean again, which proves impossible.
I am looking at Musto for this season.

Don’t the rubber exterior pieces just stick on with glue in a red metal tin with a brush in lid - evostick stuff and then a wall paper roller to roll flat . That’s how I have stuck ours back in past. I’m sure a Chandlery or even B&Q type stores stock it.
