Anti-foul
Bought five litres today,
Optimum Extra, Colour is Dover White,
Fifty quid for a five litre can from a used boat bits shop
in Penryn, Paint is new though!
Is this a bargain or is there a catch?

I would never buy used antifouling.
New enviro regs have made the stuff very expensive indeed. whether thats a sales trick i dont know, but 80 euro's/5 litre is not a bad deal nowadays. (here, NL)
Dover white you said ????? For that money here on the continent at least we get some colour for our euros.

Used antifouling - now theres a marketing opportunity - I can cough up about 20 litres a season!

On another note the kind lady at Boots asked if the tablets she was giving me (for my missus) were new.

WHen I suggested that I wasnt in the market for secondhand drugs, she had to retreat with tears streaming down her face. She returned after a few moments, composure reinstated saying that it was most unusual for people to bring a sense of humour to the pharmacy - most left it outside!
