Music/sound in the saloon

Does anyone know if i could use the Lepai LP-2020A+ to run the four speakers in my girlfriends car. The head unit is rubbish so i was thinking of fitting Lepai amp under the dash and ignoring the factory head unit. She could stream music from her phone via the 3.5mm jack.

Can anyone recommend a Bluetooth reciever and 12v psu for said ta2020 boards so that I can build something to play music from my iPhone to fitted car speakers?

Bump.
Took a look on Ebay but a search only came up with a GPS Bluetooth from Germany at £34. Seems over the top.
I use a small 12v motorcycle amplifier and 1/4" mini jack cables to mobile phone, tablet and DAB radio.
A Bluetooth connection would get rid of the spaghetti.
For speakers I just use mini-domestic ones recovered from a skip. When they fall to bits I have another pair waiting.

Best way to do music from iPhone to radio is one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-WIRELESS-MP3-FM-RADIO-TRANSMITTER-HANDS-FREE-FOR-MOBILE-IPHONE5-IPOD-SAMSUNG-/291274112176 less than a fiver brilliant. You can even get similar ones with a remote! Probably not satisfy hi fi criteria.
Best way to retain memory in car radio is wire in a separate dry cell battery if you want your 'off' to be totally off as I do.

Just thought I'd add my twopenneth on the speaker front, I had a redundant set of surround speakers and subwoofer from a dvd player, I set up the system so the subwoofer (quite a small one) went into an under-seat locker with two surround speakers left and right in the cabin.
The result is an amazing sound with incredible range.
The visible surround speakers are pretty small (about 120mm x 60mm) and hardly take up any space.

I have a cheap (£40) car stereo which uses SD cards, USB sticks etc, plus ipod input and radio, a really good setup and I can take my entire CD collection with me on a few SD cards.
I'm also working on the basis that this setup is virtually 'disposable' at these prices so if they only last a few years, not really an issue!

Worth a try if you have a spare set knocking around!

With that setup what is the sub? 12v or 230v?

It's not a powered sub, I feed the front L&R outputs from the car stereo into crossovers, then feed the sub and surround speakers from those. you can use an active or passive crossover such as these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rockwood-...ound_Vision_Speaker_Parts&hash=item3ce7e97076
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fixapart-...7?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item418c42008d

You can also buy stereos which have a dedicated sub output which eleminate the need for a crossover, as long as it has some sort of input, you could then feed your tv/laptop/iphone into it.
