is this the one at royal clarence marine ????? did they call it a show ????they had it last year looked to be a bit of a flop. they had about 10 different cats motor and sail on the pontoons, looked like any other marina full of boats to me. i guess if your serious about buying it's good to compare but i would not rush from the CI's just for a nose about, unless your in the area.

If you're seriously looking for a cat, yes, it's worth it. I haven't seen the full entry list yet, but Ancasta will be there with the Lagoons, Multihull World will have Broadblues, the new Dazcat Voyager 10 and Nautitech 40. There will also be representative yachts from Fontain Pajot, TomCat, Dragonfly, Privilege and some motor cats. You can download a brochure here

I quite enjoyed looking around the boats without the crowds and being able to have proper conversations with the sales staff. Not very big, but then it is being very specialist and there are only so many cats around.

I went last year and had a great time, if you are after big crouds and loads of stalls selling gear, then its probably not for you, but if you want a relaxed wander round the cats and chat to the owners/builders, and the chance to go for a sail in one, then you will enjoy it.

I went last year and got a ride on two cats - the Mahe and the Broadblue. An excellent way get a good look at a good variety close up. If you are in England I don't think it can be beaten as a starting point.

I have heard good things about La Rochelle for Cats also but haven't been myself.

If you are after Garden Furniture, Hot Tubs or double glazing I am afraid you will have to stick to the more conventional "boat shows". But all the UK ones will have less Cats.
