been invited to dinner there on sunday night.

How close can I get there by boat without dinging my new props which haven't even gone on yet!

Any tips / advice / recommendations welcome.

ps only a 2.5 on the dinghy and not my wife's favourite mode of transport so no more than 5 min dinghy ride.

Depending on the state of the tide, you can get into the harbour with no problems. Where are you dining? You could anchor or pick up a buoy inside the harbour and take the tender back to Mudeford Quay easily enough.

Dinner at a friends house - they quay will do perfectly.

Need to c heck the times when I get to the boat tomorrow - tried to press the weather and tides button above but it doesn't seem to work and I am too tired to find tides......

Any idea how long either side of HW it's accessible?

The tides can be complicated, you get 2 high waters each tide with a stand in between:

(add the hour for BST and make the max graph size 1)

Bear in mind that you can get 4 plus knots of tide through the Run
