Yes MF spent an unhappy nite on Poole Quay, HLB complained bitterly about boats passing at well above 6 kts causing severe wash problems. He was planning on being in Yarmouth lasy nite.

And yes we did have a few drinks in Alderney, in fact rather too much, for the first time ever misjudged getting into dinghy off the back of MF and ended up in the drink, much to the amusement of all aboard! Still, the water was warm and it saved me having a shower....................

Was in Mainbrayce when your parcel of Solly delivered, after much deliberation and procrastination axshully bort some. Apparently you haven't invoiced them for last years consignment!

No we have a special arrangement on the Soltron sales. Alderney i small and sales arent huge so I am not worried about it I just want to make sure Mainbrayce are happy and not carrying too much stock over winter.

They are very nice people there.

I find just about everyone on Alderney extremely friendly, a complete and very welcome change from the mainland.

I love the place so much I spend at least 10 days a year there during Alderney week. Also go up at weekends if I get the time.

One of my favourite places to be, good food, good drink, good company, good fishing and not to far to walk anywhere.
