Does anybody know if the gearset from a ms5 will fit ms4 please ratio is the same .

Have been in contact with Amour directly.
Suspect the only folks who would know the answer to the question of compatibilty would be a Volvo Penta agent or VolvoPaul. !
Only sure fire way would be to get part numbers but no part numbers listed on any web sourced exploded diagrams, only the legend obsolete out of production.
Searching through paperwork work for MS4B gearbox that was replaced in boat around 15 years ago...
