MrsChellers\' report on the Bradwell meet
Hi all,
'Twas great fun to meet y'all at last. Here are a few of my piccies of the event.
Setting off from Brightlingsea
Venturing out...
Someone seems to find it all a dead bore
Mr Chellers and Lucy the dog check where we're going
Lucy considers Dog Overboard practice
Forum burgee flying
Aha, the Bradwell Power Station approaches through the haze
At about this point I got very excited at seeing a black fin (dolphin or other porpoise) and then got a bit close to Swedish Lass before getting out of her way. Sorry Graham!
Tied up in the marina at Bradwell after a great welcome from MoodySabre. Time for a quick nap.
Chellers and Morgana getting acquainted
Morgana's skipper decides to downsize
Everyone else is up there getting the beers in while we're still putting away our tender.
The morning after, gathering for breakfast on Morgana as we prepare to leave
Sleepy dog took another nap whilst underway. She was worn out by all the excitement and attention!
We had a rather slow motor back against the tide but arrived in Brightlingsea by lunchtime and found some helpful other berth-holders to spin us round in our mooring.
Once again it was good to see all of you that made it and we look forward to meeting some of the other East Coasters in due course!
