Hi all,

'Twas great fun to meet y'all at last. Here are a few of my piccies of the event.

At about this point I got very excited at seeing a black fin (dolphin or other porpoise) and then got a bit close to Swedish Lass before getting out of her way. Sorry Graham!

Tied up in the marina at Bradwell after a great welcome from MoodySabre. Time for a quick nap.

Sleepy dog took another nap whilst underway. She was worn out by all the excitement and attention!

We had a rather slow motor back against the tide but arrived in Brightlingsea by lunchtime and found some helpful other berth-holders to spin us round in our mooring.

Once again it was good to see all of you that made it and we look forward to meeting some of the other East Coasters in due course!

Re: MrsChellers\' report on the Bradwell meet

Nice pics.

Sorry I didn't make it. Was up there at 2ish to sort out my berth but by the time we had fixed the electrics and tightened the rigging down at Maylandsea it was 6 and our pink note had expired. Sailed round on sunday, breeze was a bit inconsistent up by Osea but filled in nicely once past marconi. Grayling is now on in her new home E10 at Bradwell. Glad I invested in some big new fenders as the shrimper next to me was hanging out a single small blue fender.

Re: MrsChellers\' report on the Bradwell meet

It was very nice to welcome Chellers and to meet others for the first time and the usual suspects. I was going to post my pics but seem to be having a glitch with that so you are all spared!

I envied those waking up in the backwaters on this lovely morning. For reasons not now entirely clear - I came home.

The good news for me was that we had our first run out in Sabre on Sunday and came back with NO WATER IN THE BILGES. A first - the new stern gland etc seems to have worked!

Re: MrsChellers\' report on the Bradwell meet

Thanks to Alan for organising the BBQ.

Good to see some familiar faces again.
Great to meet some new forumites.

The Walton Backwaters was very nice last night and this morning.
A fair bit of seal activity around.

Had a good if upwind sail back to the Deben.
Just managed to tack in time to avoid going up the beach at Felixstowe.

Mrs Chellers is a real pro with the camera. Have you seen her input on 'your boat pics'. Just need to get close in Flipper now!

Sorry I couldn't be with you all but was in Roach / Crouch from Friday. Had a great sail back from Crouch on Monday - at 'theoreical' hull speed (1.4 x sq root etc)! Would have made a fantastic pic!!

I can confirm that Full Circle is afloat. I passed her on her mooring about 10 this morning. No sign of anyone working though!!
