In a spot of bother - committed to a system using MRBF fuses, but non-available or on back order for a month.

Have ordered a generically-described 'cube' fuse from 12V planet. Am hoping it's compatible. Would anyone know one way or the other?

Generic a lot cheaper, so have a nagging doubt.

Many thanks.

I went this route, and they were not compatible, now swapped for MEGA fuses.

Unfortunately, in my experience, when they say not available for a month, that really means, we do not have a clue!

Thanks JB.

Tried a bit harder and sourced an MRBF just up the road from me - dropped of by hand!

Guess the MRBF is a bit more serious/explosion proof - opted for it as recommended for use in lithium setup.

They are often used in LFP systems.. I have them on mine currently. But the recommended fusing is Class T because of its high amperage interrupt capacity (AIC).
