I have used this on my mast slides for some years and it works well. Particularly as it only costs only £1.30.

Got a bit carried away in my saloon and used it everywhere including paintwork, timber the lot. Everywhere now looks fantastic and has the great smell of lemons.

One downside is that the sole is a skating rink due to the overspray. I should have only sprayed it onto the dusters.

How long will it last and have I caused future problems ?

I've found that using Mr Sheen once a year on the tuff-luff I used to have, had a beneficial effect on the hoisting effort envolved in raising a genoa jib.I have suffered from Asthma, and would be most careful not to inhale any of the product. Once a year seems environmentally friendly usage, especially as I can have an attack triggered more easily by processed dilutable orange juice, and its preservatives. This thread is not very boaty, and apart from luff slides or bolt rope issues could wander more into health and environment issues.
So what else will do the boaty bit job instead,or as well as Mr Sheen?
