mr funnel fuel filter

I think the important feature that's been missed is the the filter did its job , it has removed contamination from the fuel. because its a strainer with small surface area it will block given the right sort of dirt.

I have not got one, can the filter be back flushed with compressed air that should clear it-taking all due precautions of course.
