Mounting Brackets GPS/Chartplotter

Apologies to those in the know but brilliant site for brackets etc is www.ram-mount-uk.com.
For those of us who need help, in the section marked "ram mount parts" they have a magnifier for GPS etc which is £23.99.This is going in my stocking.

Not yet.A friend has just bought one for his 10" Garmin plotter which he is putting on his coachroof under the sprayhood.I will wait & see if it is OK.
I plan to use a suction one for my small Raymarine 400 h/h plotter
to fix either on the coachroof or to the face of the cockpit by the hatchway.As my plotter has only a 3.5" screen I thought the magnifier would help.I can of course use my plotter on batteries as well as mains & have it next to me in my hand.
