Our 1966 Gusher 25 has died, due to both alloy clamping plates (that sit on the circumference of each diaphragm) giving up the ghost due to severe corrosion.

I'm thinking or replacing it with a Gusher 30.

It will be mounted so that its base is horizontal (as opposed to with its base vertically attached to a bulkhead).

Can the body then be altered so that the handle sticks out either horizontally or vertically?

I hope that makes sense.

Why couldn' the pump be mounted on a wall or on a floor?

I want to mount it in exactly the same place as the existing Gusher 25, which is sitting with it's base bolted to the bottom of a locker, with the handle standing vertically.

I've seen a picture of one that is sitting on its base (just as I want), but with its handle sticking out horizontally (which is not what I want).

Can that pump be re-assembled so that its handle stands vertically?

It looks like there are alternative positions for the handle.

I have a Gusher 25 which also has alternative positions for the handle. I haven't used it for some time and was thinking of selling it. let me know if you would be interested.

Thank you: that's exactly the sort of picture I'd been looking for, and tells me exactly what I want to know ...... about the 30.

But .... pm sent!
