I've decided to sell my Musto Ocean oilies on eBay.
I never wear them any more and they are only taking up space in my box room wardrobe so I got them out last night to take some photos and found there are some small mould marks on the back of the jacket
Whats the best way to get these marks off?

Now, come on Bluechip. I would have thought you would have asked in-house first /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif - and you a chemist/scientist. Shame on you. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But one product I have used to good effect - and used sparingly and quickly washed off - is a bathroom tile cleaner with bleach - Dettol Mould and Mildew Remover.

That's what I used. Needed to leave it work for some hours(?) but all signs of the mould disappeared without any rubbing or scrubbing.

It's bleach with some added surfactants etc. so be careful using it, in the same way you would with normal bleach, as it can discolour, and weaken fabric and stitching.

It may be worth trying an oxy-stain remover type product, which don't contain bleach, but remove stains very effectively without harming fabrics.
