Particularly that stuff that grows on the underside of your spray hood.Any good household type sprays that work to either remove it or prevent it growing there in the first place?

I did read somewhere that painting Detoll on kepps mould at bay.

Polycell 3 in 1 Mould Killer http://www.polycell.co.uk/products/polycell_mould_killer.jsp is effective and readily available but really intended for hard surfaces so test in a corner.

Solution of tea tree oil and water sprayed at regular intervals to prevent it. I've never had mould on mine so it must be working or the mould doesn't like my spray hood.

Ideally should have this hazard label on it;

As it suggests residue should not be allowed to go into water course or sea.
