We were out spectating at the RS Tera [a kids dinghy] National championships at Burnham this weekend.
In the past I have been known to complain about wash and passing too close from motorboats.
However I have to say I was very impressed by the consideration given to the racing dinghies and good handling of the boats passing by or through the race course.
At times, with nearly 100 boats racing, there wasn't much room left for passage but everyone showed good manners and patience.
It was much appreciated. I had no connection with the organisation, just an observer.
