morse dual control track selector problem.

My dual control is not allowing me to select from the flybribge even as i have disconnected the cable from the rack to the outdrive. Normal selection is still possible from the cabin. any suggestions? Or can anyone recommend someone in the southampton area who is familiar with single leaver red top controls.

Should add this is connected to a bravo2 leg

It will be a problem with the two into one junction box that allows either control to work without moving the other one.
