The original morse control head has finally given up and is beyond repair without remanufacturing the internals so time to consign it to Davy Jones's Locker.
Question is what to replace it with - I have had a look at the Ultraflex B85 and while that will fit in the recessed pod (with a little packing) the lever hits the cockpit seat when shoved full ahead (does not actually get as far as full ahead before the lever hits the seat)
I have looked at raising the unit up but that is a non starter for a number of reasons not least of all would be the amount of rework to the coaming. So has anyone changed the morse control on their Sadler 34 and if so when, how and what lever unit did you use?
I read some used the MV-2 but those are NLS (No Longer Supplied)

Thanks Viv, I read your posts over on Mike Lucas's site. MV2 NLS and the original one is definitely bølløxed this time - not enough casing left to weld and the internals are completely shot - Options are TX, SL3-S or MNS-SB but I have not as yet found details on them (dimensions and lever swing etc) Was hoping someone on here had done the deed recently and could advise what they used before I start the long trail around suppliers.
