Having bought the cables, I'm now looking at ways to fix them.

Stainless (or plastic) P-clips? Although, assuming there's probably only three or four needed, I'd probably swallow the £2.

Ideal if you wanted to alter your set up from series to parralel but remember that it alters the stand off hight so you would have to allow for that as it would increase the the angle that the cable attaches to the lever

Having bought the cables, I'm now looking at ways to fix them. ASAP do a nice clamp, but they are £2 each. Cable OD is 9mm.

Any alternatives?

I used clips like those to attach the brake pipes on my MGB to the body so you may get something suitable from your local motor factor

RS also do some clips that you screw to the mounting surface and then use a cable tie to hold the pipe/cable in place.
