More PAF faff at Calais

Just had two amiably chatty (ie good at their job!) Douanes aboard, for a Passport check. On a Sunday lunchtime, in rustic Treguier, of all times & places. After cruising the French coast (in at Dieppe, down to La Rochelle, now meandering back) since April, and not sighting a single Douane or PAF, outside of their offices, in four months.....

Presumably on an EU passport or a French visa though.

UK passport with a Visa de Long Sejour. The 6 month, non-onerous-to-obtain, French tourist visa. Praise be, for it!
