Yes, if we had a system that would deal with scum like these you would have a point. Being caught on an island next to the wrecked boat with the guys gear on and admitting guilt, what more do you need? I would have no problem naming them.
The reason our system has fallen down is people not standing up the people like this. They got on the boat knowing if they got caught, they would get a slap on the legs and told they are naughty boys.

ah , sorry , on that I have to disagree , yes I agree with corporal punishment in some ways but I don't think the death penalty is a winning solution
