Southend Air show sort of Medwayish 27th/28th May.
Admirals Cruise/Fishermans Court 30th of June.
Rochester Castle concerts(free music if you have a boat)12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 July
Maidstone River Festival. 27th/28 July.

Use to attend the Maidstone River Festival yearly from the late 80s until about three years ago. It was a great event with a good atmosphere.
Always remember the time they put on a waterski display......on a 30m wide river with boats moored stern to down both banks .........not quite the best idea they ever had!!
 
Hope it goes back in OK.Mine really ought to have been hauled out by now for bellows n A/F but while weather is OK seems shame not to use the thing.Normally do stuff mid winter but much more pleasant lying in pool of water under boat during summer months. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This historic event without fail takes place very year when all the Medway forumites go down to Stangate Creek for a drink.
The minor fly in the ointment being that no forumite as yet has managed to arrive on the same day/time/month/year as any other forumite.
Only contact so far has been watching somebody else in the far distance leave or arrive as you leave or arrive. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
