Where: Iffley Reach, Longbridges to the Head of the River public house
What’s happening:
Oriel Regatta
There will be a navigation channel on the east, non-towpath side of the river. This will be suitable for small craft. Larger craft will travel along the race course in between races. Whilst racing is in progress, the marshals may request boaters to moor at one of the designated mooring points and wait, for a period of no longer than 15 minutes until the current race has finished, before proceeding up or downstream through the course.
For your safety and the safety of the rowers please pay attention to advice offered by official regatta marshals.
When: Sunday 28 June 2015 – 06.30 to 08.00
Where: Marlow Reach, Higginson Park to Bisham Abbey
What’s happening: F3 – Marlow Sprint and Olympic Distance Triathlon
The navigation channel shall be established on the Bisham side of the river. There will be event safety boats at either end of the navigation channel, please pay attention to any advice they offer, if necessary they will escort river traffic along the navigation channel.
When: Saturday 4 July 2015 – 06.00 to 08.00
Where: Boulter’s Lock to the Waterside Inn upstream of Bray Lock
What’s happening: The Boulter’s to Bray Swim
At 06.00 on Saturday 4 July 2015, swimmers will depart from Boulter’s Lock and swim downstream to the Waterside Inn, Bray.
Their route will be predominantly along the Taplow, Buckinghamshire bank. The swimmers will have Hi-Viz caps and be escorted by canoe guards.
All river users are asked to keep a good look out for the swimmers, navigate slowly and with particular caution when in their vicinity and give them a wide berth.
When: Saturday 25 July 2015 – 09.30 to 18.00
Where: Cleeve Reach, From Cleeve Lock to a point 600 metres upstream of Cleeve Lock
What’s happening: Goring and Streatley Regatta
The navigation channel shall be established on the east side of the river.
Racing boats will be using a buoyed channel between Cleeve Lock and a point 600m upstream of Cleeve Lock on the west, towpath side of the river.
