Mooring rings at Sadlers Ride, above Molesey lock

We have 1 mooring ring at the slipway here. If I email the EA will they install some more or be totally unhelpful?

Is it an EA mooring ?

Well I emailed Elmbridge Borough Council who manage the open space there and they told me the riverbank was the EAs responsibility.

If the Council don't manage it and the EA don't who do? It's a public slipway.

Well , you may have been fobbed off by the council , but then again you may not.

I know moorings are collected by the EA for Barge Walk , but i suspect the slipway is a local authority slipway ( don't hold me to that though )

Best thing you can do is to give Steve at Molesey Lock a ring and have a chat with him , he will be more clued up on who manages / owns what at that point.

Going to bash a mooring stake into the nettles there as a temporary solutions. Probably not allowed...
