Who needs to find a pub ! , if you look at the details its got a firkin great wine cellar. Would take you ages to drink your way out of there .
If you can afford to live there, surely you would just send a man in a dinghy to the Master Builder to fetch your beer for you.
I'e been there quite a few times this year, and while it isnt the place to go if you are looking for Britain's cheapest pint, the beer is good, and actually the burger off the bbq wasnt bad at all.To find a decebt pub you'd have to walk past the master builders. Which is what I was trying to get at![]()

Console yourselves, my green tinged friends. When the great global warming sea level rise cometh, this house will be under the water and won't be worth 15 quid
No problem, just buy anti GW insurance from Deleted User Industries ! Low low low premiums I hear ...Console yourselves, my green tinged friends. When the great global warming sea level rise cometh, this house will be under the water and won't be worth 15 quid
That is a very sore point in the Deleted User household at the moment. Despite the fact that there is now just the SWMBO and me living in our humble little abode, we seem to employ 2 Portugese gardeners, 1 Bulgarian gofer, 1 Romanian cleaner and 1 jobbing builder of unknown extraction who seems to be permanently in residence here. If by some quirk of good fortune I could manage to scrape together the £15m required to buy the Beaulieu house, we would need the mooring at the bottom of the garden to bring in the boatloads of immigrants, assylum seekers and refugees that SWMBO would deem necessary to maintain the damned place. Sometimes its a blessing to be poorI havent actually before considered having more gardeners than family members.
