Mooring near Toulon in July and August

Does anyone know where I can moor in July and August near Toulon?

lots of marinas to the West - La Seyne, Sanary, Bandol, La Ciotat, Cassis etc - but they all look crowded. I think they have websites and you could contact the harbour masters. Best of luck: it's a great coast!

Extremely difficult in July and, particularly, August. You certainly won't get any joy booking by phone or email. You just need to turn up. We've had success leaving the boat ashore for a month at Hyeres and also afloat in Toulon in the old harbour.

Port Napoleon often gets mentioned. Not exactly close to Toulon, tho', specially with summer traffic.
