If my experience in Ibiza is anything to go by, its bloody hard. They dont tell you this but the accepted procedure is to get on the phone to the harbourmaster's office first thing in the morning. It will takes ages and when they answer they will pretend not to speak English (fair enuf, I spose), after about 5 minutes of trying out your non existent Spanish you will be put on a waiting list with the promise that they will ring you later to tell you whether you can get in that night. Off course they never do
The alternative approach is to radio in on the VHF explaining that you have some massive mechanical problem and that you need a berth pronto. The marinas are fully aware of this ploy but it sometimes works especially if you can get a sobbing female to do the VHF bit but you'd better be able to demonstrate that you have a problem otherwise they'll chuck you out. Either way you'll be out the next day anyway, problem fixed or not and if your engines dont work they'll tow you out of the marina - I know because it happened to me
Ah yes, the best bit, if you do manage to get in it will cost you €180 per night for a 15m berth
My advice would be not to go during July/August and if you have to, make sure you have a good anchor and plenty of chain because you'll be doing a lot of overnight anchoring
