Mooring for an NB in West London

Morning all,

I have a friend who has a 57ft narrow boat and he is looking for a suitable mooring to liveaboard in west London near Hampton Court / Thames Ditton area.

So far they have had some crazy quotes given to them and he's asked me to see if you have any alternative ideas.

No major facilities are required as the boat can be taken to the marina.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Residential moorings in that area are like rocking horse poo. Hence why charges are expensive.

Remind him to budget for a river licence / boat safety / insurance on top of his mooring will you

It's an expensive part of the world. He might want to investigate Brentford. You would probably get more replies to this on some of the canal forums.
