Mooring fees up again

Anyone elses gone up this year ? I thought they would give it a miss this year due to the financial worries that are headline news .

T&K have stayed the same with reduced VAT

£296 per metre per year down to £290

I'm paying £890 a year for 25 ft on a mid river mooring . I dont suppose ill get much cheaper ? and it is a lovely spot i have .

Ours is staying the same, they are actually going to credit the VAT difference when it comes to renewal time as well on the balance of the paid mooring fees. Every bit helps, might be able to get a couple of bottles of wine out of the difference...

Windsor Marina even refunded part of last year....which they didn't have to as the VAT point was April 08...times are obvioulsy tough!

I actually got a VAT cheque refund from MDL! Mind you they are still putting the prices up because they know even if you can't afford the prices, you can't sell the boat either 'cos of the mess we are all in! catch 22 eh!

Maybe they were low to start with?

My previous mooring in Maidenhead has just raised prices like that by far more than the rest, but they were seriously cheap in the first place so I guess re-aligning themselves with all the others.
