Does anyone on the forum know about the rights of mooring downstream of Windsor footbridge, on the Windsor side?
The reason I ask, is that we were moored up on sunday, just up from the River House pub, but quite a way before the signs stating that the mooring is owned by Salters steamers. Then a lady came along saying that we are welcome to moor there, but it would cost £10, payable to Salters steamers. Does anyone know if the own all that side on the river, as it just seemed strange to me, that there signs only go about half way up that mooring, then stop?
As it happens, we just moved across to the Eton side, as the public free mooring became free at that stage.
