Hello guy's.
Can anyone help me, where can I find the certificate of conformity for the hull and engine's?
Without this certificates I can't register the boat in my country

JCL are of course long gone and I am not sure how good record keeping was back in the day.

maybe employ a local surveyor to report on it and use that (if it's accepted by the authorities, not sure it would here in Greece though unless considered a "new custom built")

btw that's a JCL not a moonraker (unless I'm horribly wrong) well, JCL is the boatyard Marauder the model. They also did Moonraker as well as the grp version of my Mystere (which Marcus has)

I'm from Italy, the boat is still register in England, but with the new England rule's I can't register the boat with England flag (because I'm not resident there)
In the certificate is writer Moonraker not JCL, for this I write so.

Welcome Kutyba, what you have there is a very rare beast, I believe only 10 were made! Please post any history you have on her and lots more photos!
As dusywings has said JCL went bankrupt in 1981, also sadly sometime soon after this their offices were struck by lightening and burnt down destroying all their records!
However, I can think of two routes for you to go down, firstly contact Sarah Mogford at JCL Moonraker (or her Facebook page Moonraker Boats and JCL Marine). She is the author of a book detailing the history of JCL (you will need a copy to keep on the Marauder!), her Father however was an employee of JCL so they may be able to offer some help.
Secondly, a Marauder was sold in Turkey recently, perhaps the broker could help or put you in touch with the new owner Marauder for Sale.

For anybody who might be interested, some additional info on the Marauder in the catalogue below.
Although it does not say anything about certificates of conformity.

Unfortunately the society on what the boat was registered is melted in 2016.
The boat certificate expired 2019. For now the boat is cancelled from England registry, so there are no documents for the boat.
I remained with the boat without documents
Only way to register the boat is to find someone with documents of the same boat (but without boat, and try to buy the documents).
Unfortunately if I can't find the solution for the end of the next week, I will need to destroy the boat.

I'm certainly no expert in this area, but would it be possible for the boat to be owned by a UK Limited company, registered & flagged in the UK and moored in Italy?

I presume that you have at least a Bill of Sale from the previous owner, issued when you bought the boat?

These folk claim that they can register your boat for you -
Yacht Register Holland €299 OR POLAND €469 FOR LIFE

You say that the boat certificate expired in 2019 - do you still have a copy of this certificate?

Is it not possible at all to get Part 1 British Registry?

The owner of this boat is dead, but I have the contact with his daughter

The certificate in the second attachment appears to indicate that shares in the vessel were transferred from Kellar Marine Ltd to Mr Maccatrozzo on the 20th April 2003.

The certificate that expired in November 2019 was an MSF 4700 - in this link below they say that older versions of the forms will not be accepted after February 2019.
There are a variety of forms starting with MSF 47**, but MSF 4700 is not mentioned.

I read it that Guglielmo Maccatrozzo owned 100/100 shares in Keller Marine Limited in 2003, and based also on the Registry assume that Keller Marine Limited was the beneficial owner. According to companies house the company was dissolved in 2016. The last return shows that Guglielmo Maccatrozzo owned 100/100 shares in the company in 2015. You will need evidence to show that the boat was 'sold' to someone else by the company before it was dissolved in 2016.

Yes it’s called a bank or finance house .
Gardia Finanza breezed along our pontoon last summer ( blooming heck ) .Spoke perfect Eng .
Rather nice folk .They did not want to pursue us as soon as I opened my mouth and they linked the flag to the accent .
How ever quite a few 50 ftr FB + 50 sail boats are red ensign s and Italian owners .

So i popped the Q “, How are theses Italians getting away flying red U.K. ensigns officer “

Answer came back they are all legit because the boats are owned technically by a U.K. finance house / bank so are U.K. reg .

So to the Op get a small boat loan on it from a U.K. based finance Co ......they will reg it on the U.K. register.
Something like that .

Bit embarrassing when we first arrived in IT as I would engage conversations with boats flying a red to find they only spoke Italian. Soon stoped .
