Is there anyone here who can tell me the height of a Moonraker 36 Flybridge? I'm looking for both the height from the waterline and the total height, if possible. This is in relation to bridge clearance and so on. Please note that my radar arch has been removed.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm fascinated - is there any reason why you can't measure it? That's likely to be more accurate than figures based on what people say they believe (correctly or incorrectly) the height to be. Also there might be variations based on how high/low different boats float because of different weights of boat (different engines and equipment, more or less water and fuel in the tanks etc.) or even some variation in how they were built.

A friend has a Moonraker flybridge with a tubular stainless steel radar arch which can be lowered . I guess the original customer had a radar arch of his choice.
With the arch lowered and all canvas removed leaving the flybridge screen as the tallest point my friends boat has passed under a bridge that is listed a 13ft air draft .

The boat is 300 km away from me. I'll be back there in two weeks and can indeed take measurements then. However, I am currently requesting quotes to transport the boat over land, and they need to know the height. That's why I'm asking.

If you are getting it transported, have a look at the transport company’s website or facebook page to see what other boats they have transported. I got a boat trucked back from Barcelona and the transport company wanted the props and rudders removed. I’m guessing that would have cost a lot in the marina I was lifting at.
I looked up their Facebook page and they had similar boats with props and rudders still fitted for transport. Reckon I saved a good few hundred quid.

I understand. You'll get a rough idea by adding the air draught figure to the draught, assuming your boat was built to the same specs as the one in the mag article linked by Momac above, and assuming the article had the dimensions right.

I say 'rough idea' because the deepest draught is likely to be aft and the maximum air draught further forward, so transporting the boat bow down or bow up will change the total height.

I guess the transport company only need an approximate figure and will be able to quote you subject to their carrying out a final measurement if it looks like they'll get the job.
