Moonraker 350

Help!
I recently bought a Moonraker 350 Flybridge model.
The helm on the Flybridge is very stiff compared to the one in the cabin. Any ideas why this would be.

I'm guessing it's cable operated in which case the cables are probably drying up and need replacing. Also disconnect the upper cable and ensure the helm itself is free to turn.
