Not bad but an eyewatering price! ... I think it needs another 6 feet on the foredeck maybe to get the proportions looking better ... what it really needs is a properly shaped bow instead of that perpendicular horror! Looks like it's hit the quay doing 20 knots! Eye of the beholder etc etc I suppose! ... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As a staunch Moody fan, I think it's awful. I went on the first one at the Premier launch, with an open mind and came off with a closed one.

As flaming says, helming and having to look past the solid canopy would be a struggle. The galley is very spacious for use while not under way, but in a seaway the cook and utensils would be flying across the cabin due to its height above the waterline.

I think its a fairweather cruiser only, which will suit a lot of liveaboard couples.

Out of interest, have you had a look at the new 41? What did you think of that?

Certainly better looking than the 45.
Hanse influence is obvious - not a fan of the sailplan though (large main - self tacking jib) /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

And down below it just didn't work for us. The Moody man admitted that mayor changes were on the way.

A monohull catamaran crossed with turkish gulet? Fantastic!

It's brilliant for its target market - surely aimed at a liveaboard couple where time in marina/at anchor matters most, and fast passagemaking in between.

The aft cabins are v tight for a 45', but for occasional guests, they're fine.

If made to scandinavian standards, I'll buy one like a shot in 10 years when I'm put out to grass.

At £ 350k+, they will sell few, but demand for such a unique product will help resale values.

Looks don't matter to everyone - who actually thinks Catamarans are pretty?

Lets start a survey!
