Moody 425 Engine?

Anyone out there with knowledge of the Ford 4 cyl 50 HP engine fitted to (various) 1990 ish Moodies?
Need info re spares etc and any other comments please.

It sounds like the 1.8 Fiesta/Escort engine marinised. I have a Lancing Marine one on Gladys. Parts as cheap as chips. They are belt driven OHC and fuel pump, so you need to make sure you know the age/state of the belts and replace every X years (automotive people now recommend 4 years)

My 1990 425 has the 50HP Thornycroft 110 engine in it which is a marinised 4 cylinder Ford Diesel as used in the Orion and several other cars.

Parts readily available from Ford dealers apart from the marinised bits of course
