At the end of the weekend, on our way back home sunday, a judder started in the boat, shut down to tickover, no alarms, all guages showing normal, ****,I've lost a blade, went through my mind, try one unit at a time, stb into neutral, astern, more throttle, ahead throttle no problem, repeated the exercise for the port unit nothing, ok, gently ahead both 1500 nothing, 2000 nothing, full levers, on to the plane no vibration no judder, WTF was that then, thinks skip.
Another 20 mins back at base, shut down both, all's normal. Get in tender, put legs to beach position, and unravels this lot from between port engine props;-
