Molesey regatta today

I think I must have mellowed with age. Utter carnage at Hampton Court today with young crews all over the place and that was just the course !

Fortunately we had an off duty teacher on board ( ex rower) ready to give instructions- shout !

Not much you can do if all the crews in front stop and the three behind also forget to stop ! Fortunately my stern is well built !

Also calculated today that there are now in excess of 110 small hire boats between Tedd and Molesey. Not including paddle boards and kayaks.

This summer is going to be fun !

In restrospect I'm glad we were / used to be moored further upstream!

You are indeed correct, that made matters worse when crews were crossing the course to get back !
