I sort of agree, but only so far as the term isn't duplicative. So I'd call the back corner of a sail a clew, or the cupboard at back of a car a boot, because there is no other word for that. But when there is a perfectly good landlubber word so that the nautical term adds nothing extra, I avoid the nautical term. So I prefer toilet/WC/lavatory/kahzee/anything to "the heads". This isn't inaccurate - as said above a set screw differs from a bolt. It's just avoiding pointlessness... surely you have to know some nautical terms or you shouldn't be in charge of boat at all.
