BRUCE been wachin web cam is amanzi in the water

Oh yeah. Then I had to go against the wall because the new props weren't performing. Changed back to repaired ones and had to wait till 7pm to float her AGAIN. Took her for a spin and caught a rope in the starboard props. Spent the next two hours until 10pm in the water cutting them free. Got out and checked operations but forgot the legs in beach mode. Water taxi man in tender behind Amanzi. Must have shot a rooster tail twenty foot into the air as props cleared the last of the rope and thoroughly doused the poor fellow. Haven't laughed so much in ages. Burnt up all my bad luck now so expect the weather to be positively tropical this weekend and smooth sailing throughout :encouragement:

Roy, what time are you leaving Conwy and will you be heading straight into Caernafon, Vicky dock? Given that it's going to be windy tomorow I am thinking along the lines of heading straight into Vicky dock and taking a day out in Caernafon. Sailing on the Sunday morning tide to Ty Coch if the weather holds and anchoring over Sunday night.
Let us know your departure time and if you want to go in convoy. Given last nights debacle with the rope I will verify again that no further damage has occured, which I doubt, the engine was not under load, but would feel easier if we could go in convoy at least until we get to the straights. A low tide in Vicky dock will give me the opportunity to jump in the water and remove the props for a closer look to make sure nothing has got into the hubs. If you give me a departure time I can do a quick tootle up the river to check all is indeed well before commiting to sea or holding you up.

Has Larry the water policeman caught up with Roy. Speeding through Port Dinorwic ! Called you up as you went past . I am currently trying to sort out an engine overheat but hope to be out at Pilots Cove Sunday night.

Yep caught me in Vicky Dock. Said you said to do a breathalyser test and knew our names. Thanks for stitching us up LOL.

I was mortified. Didn't know about PD restrictions just Caernarfon's. My excuse... avoiding you pirates. He liked that, let us off.
