I am after some help please.

A friend of mine would like to get into motorboating (I've tried to convince him sailing is the true way; but no luck)!

He has no qualifications yet, but would like to take the family (two adults and two small kids) for a long weekend/week skippered charter on something, probably Solent/West country based, but Med would also be considered.

Having a quick play on Google, I cant realy find anything. Could anybody point me in the right direction?

Much appreciated.

I've not chartered these guys myself but have had dealings with them for other reasons and from that perspective, can highly recommend them... very nice people which I think is a must when undertaking a skippered charter.. goes without saying that there's no point in being on a boat for a lenghty period with folk you don't get on with:)

Evenstar, my Sealine S37, is available for skippered charter.

She has a double in the master, with a double and single in the guest cabin.

Solent based so west country, channel islands and france are all possible destinations.

No crew cabin but I would either go ashore or camp on the sunpad (there is heating on deck if needed) so the charterers get private cabins.

She's coded for 8 so they can bring friends for day trips (the 8 includes me though)

I'm an instructor too so your friend could be quite competant in handling her by the end of the week if they were so inclined. Or they could sit back and be passengers, whatever they wanted. They could certainly have an ICC by the end of the week, even Dayskipper if they do more boating than holidaying.

S37evenstar@yahoo.co.uk if interested.

I can recommend plenty of specific Med boats to charter but would need to know more details on what he wants, including budget (there is a wide range of prices, starting 2.5k/day for 45 footer, 5.5k/day for 78 footer, and upwards from there). Most of July and August is sold out on the nice boats so he should hurry

Hamble Charter

Hi Gary, Thank's for thinking of us.

Yes, we are Hamble Charter and operate a Sealine T60 from our base on the River Hamble.
We are coded for 12 passengers so well within the realms there.

Destinations from the South Coast are excellent with plenty of choice.
