Had a bit of a shock last year from Vodaphone, although I must take some blame I ended up paying some £1200 using my mobile for data (wifi) for 6 weeks

Stupid really as there is a great deal from a local company - WIND for a sim and PAYG wifi of 30 gigs at 20 EU just a steal. I think I paid 20 eu for the sim as well.

So I can now use my phone as a local hotspot for my nav and weather.
Apparently WIND are all over so no problems with connection, although I haven't tried yet

I can only speak for Greece here , wind can be very patches and at time slow , when we in Italy/ Sicily we use TIM , we found it works every where and mostly at good speed , not sure what they deals are , wind as always been the cheapest deal but that could be because it's patches,
We sail in three or four country each year and just buy local SIM cards , it's not always the cheapest but at less we know what it costing us .
