we had a lovely weekend out only spolit by a few idiots in hire day boats. I'm all for people having a good time and enjoying themselves with a drink or three. This weekend there were a couple of hire day boats with people absolutely pi@@ed as farts who seemed to have no control over their boats or any consideration for anyone else on the river. The final straw was that they felt it was acceptable to pee in the river off the back of the boats without even trying to hide it. One don't pee in the river and two no one wants to see what's in your pants boys!!!

Rant over :o

What area of the river did this occur on?

Between Cookham and Marlow locks, I don't know which rental company it was they had a red top and white hull. Normally I see the Kris Cruiser day boats behaving badly, not all but some.

Met a couple today who had their boat hit by one these hire boats. Then one of the brahms and lyst lads fell in the lock.
What can be done? I suspect nothing at all.

Apart from contacting the rental companies I don't think much can be done. Most of the renters are ok it's just a small minority who cause trouble.

Russ, how did the trip up river go?
