MLR Ariel

Coming back in on Saturday called up mariner no reply , after a few attemts used 2nd fixed radio instant reply, once back on the berth and some fault finding found the the MLR ariel was missing only the base in place, unscrewed the base bit and found 2 cables into the base instead of the normal single coax
Anybody offer any advise as why 2 cables and where can I located a replacement MLR ariel

MLR are usually GPS not VHF, are you looking at the right bit?

I have Navtex on board, but this has no Paper roll and not working , GPS seperate Raymarine, looks like I have jumped to the wrong conclusion Can MLR be linked in to Shipmate RS 8300.
