Waxed paper cups make cheap measuring containers & can be disposed of to save cleaning
Can't remember what I was mixing (possibly resin) but the wax melted

Visit pets at home and pick up some of the free plastic dog food mixing cups. Graduations up the side, hold half a litre and at that price they are disposable![]()
What are they made of. Are they resistant to the solvents in the paints in the original question, or will it dissolve them?
The ones that I use are marked PP and have '5' written within the triangle. They also have the 'food grade' symbol of spoon and fork.
I use them for mixing epoxy as well as for bi-component paints like International Perfection and others. The advantage of measuring directly into the mixing cup is that the ratios are not skewed by residue that remains when using separate cups, especially noticeable in the case of the more viscous fluids.
