Mixing oxalic acid solution ?

I have bought a 125ml bottle of Liquido contra el oxido to make up a solution to wash rust stains out of a Halyard.
There doesn't seem to be any indication of the ratio to dilute it on the bottle.
Any advice please?

One would normally buy it as a crystalline powder and make a near saturated solution.

You dont say the concentration of the solution you have bought so use as it is and hope it's concentrated enough

I hope it is oxalic acid! The link in your post seems to be to something else!

Those words translate to liquid against oxidation?
So is it oxalic acid?

Googled it, it is rust converter. So probably not oxalic acid

That's what I was afraid of !

For what its worth I cleaned a length of heavily rust marked polyprop with Cillit Bang Grime and Lime ...... contains sulphamic acid IIRC.

Things you didn't know about Rhubarb and Oxalic Acid....

Plant leaves, especially rhubarb, cabbage, spinach, and beet tops, contain oxalic acid. Oxalic acid is also found in potatoes and peas.
Oxalic acid reduces iron compounds, and is therefore used in metal polishes, stain removers, and writing inks.
For a person of about 145 pounds (65.7 kg) about 25 grams of pure oxalic acid is required to cause death.
Rhubarb leaves are probably around 0.5% oxalic acid, so you would need to eat a large serving of leaves, about 5 kg (11 lbs) to cause death. Note that it will only require a fraction of that to cause sickness.

Suspect what you have is "mina ferranet" (spelling) the Spanish use it to clean bathrooms tiles etc, it will remove rust stains couple of capfuls to a bucket wipe down all your stainless with soaked sponge leave it half n hour hose off. We used to clean the whole upper deck with it. Don't get it in a cut or your eyes it nips a bit.

Ps its pink in the bottle
